IndEA has been notified as a standard framework for designing Enterprise Architectures and it is seen that designing Enterprise Architecture for a large and complex organization typically takes months and years. Also, it requires big modeling upfront and involves creation of scores of artifacts, even before the first line of code is written. The Agile methodology, on the other hand, postpones any kind of modeling to the eleventh hour, insists on very little planning and documentation, and promises delivery of working software in weeks. Need was felt to develop Agile IndEA framework to infuse agile practices into IndEA for simplifying the understanding of IndEA and promoting its widespread adoption by the Ministries of GOI, States and large organizations in the public sector
